Jeez.eu was born 2 weeks ago. We appreciate that so many people visited Jeez and commented on our posts. This shows that we are moving on track. So now that Jeez is 2 weeks old, we would like to analyze our statistics from the Google Analytics service.

12.391 people visited our site. We had 14.737 visits, with 17.525 pageviews. We had an average 1.19 pageviews per user and the average time spent on the site was 00:00:39 seconds/visit. We had a bounce rate of 92.44% and almost 84% of our visitors was new visitors.

Conclusions
Even if it is too early to make accurate conclusions about our site’s visitors we can already see that most of our visitors are involved into programming in general and to be most accurate, PHP. We also see that a lot of our visitors are using mobile devices to browse. So, some improvements should be made to the site in order to allow them to have a better browsing experience.
Having a button to share things (The addtoany button:
) is a great way to promote articles. We are not satisfied with our bounce rate though. People seem to just read the article and leave the site. Maybe a “Relevant Articles” block would keep our visitors reading other articles.
